Dona Ajuda is a social institution in Lisbon that grew out of the “Boa Vizinhança” project. It operates in three key areas: social, environmental, and cultural. Its guiding principle is: “Ligamos quem precisa de ajuda a quem pode ajudar” – which means: We connect those who need help with those who can help.
One of its main pillars is the Loja Social (Social Shop) located in the former Mercado do Rato, where donated goods are sold to generate funds and provide affordable items for people with low incomes.
In short: Dona Ajuda is not just a donation drop-off point, but a vibrant socio-cultural hub focused on sustainability and community.
Dona Ajuda accepts a wide variety of material donations—provided they are in good condition.
